I am a South Florida based interdisciplinary artist and curator.
My academic background includes studies in Anthropology(AS), World History, and Fine Arts (BA, MFA), and I'm currently pursuing a Master of Humanities in Art & Contemporary Culture.
I discovered my calling for curating while working on research and curatorial assignments for the Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Art (MABCA) and the Contemporary Arts Museum Houston.
In 2016 I relocated to South Florida, where I continued developing my curatorial practice at Village Design Art Gallery in Fort Lauderdale. Later that year, I founded Arts Des Femmes, an all-female touring exhibition featuring multidisciplinary local and international artists.
The focal point of my work is the exploration of current sociocultural and sociopolitical issues, and the impact of emerging movements in conjunction with artistic practices.
As the lead curator of ArtServe - a Fort Lauderdale based arts organization and one of the nation's original art incubators - my mission is to help create platforms for artists to develop significant projects by fostering collaboration, experimentation, and artistic excellence.
